April first started practicing power flow yoga in college for the cardio and strength benefits. At the time she was completing a bachelors degree in Early Childhood Education. The stress and anxiety of balancing college and life in general was a challenge and she sought out to clear away the mind chatter. She soon realized that there was a great emotional benefit and noticed being more grounded and calm , yet energized at the same time after working in special education and then later a technology company, there was a strong pull to dive further into the Yoga and wellness and world . The vibe of support and community was something missing in her life. After working the front desk @ YLB for a few months, she decided to enroll into her first 200 hr Summer intensive Yoga teacher training. The experience was highly healing . The connection and getting out of her head and into her own body while practicing was something she will continue to develop further in order to be able to share this practice with others.
